Trinity Beach Top 3 – Coffee
While visitors usually flock to the beachfront cafes, Trinity Beach locals (us included!) know that one of the best places for coffee (and a killer breakfast!) is NV Cafe. What this little café lacks in beach frontage, it makes up for in Melbourne roasted coffee, cheeky treats and a chilled out vibe. If an unpretentious respite from the holiday crowd is what you’re after, then NV Café should be your next stop. Just don’t tell the other locals we let the secret out…

With its wrap around deck and ocean frontage, L’Unico Trattoria is one of our favourite spots to plonk ourselves and watch the world go by…with a great cup of coffee to boot! Choose to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine while you people watch or opt for takeaway and take a walk down the esplanade. The coffee here is made with love and the place can get packed, especially on the weekends, so don’t expect lightning service. You will however, always get a smile, a good brew and a great view!

A little further down the esplanade you’ll find the slightly “beachier” Il Chiosco. You can practically step out of the ocean and get handed your coffee, it’s that close to the beach! Famous for their pizza, this Italian café also does a mean brew. Like most places in Trinity Beach, expect the place to be buzzing on the weekend. Don’t worry if you miss out on a table though, you can always opt for takeaway. You know life’s good when your hardest decision of the morning involves choosing between sipping great coffee in a cute café or enjoying it on the beach!
